1st Annual Novice Tennis Tournament!
East County Tennis @ Granite Hills is hosting on Saturday August 10 and Sunday August 11 their first annual novice tennis tournament. The available divisions are:
- Boys Singles and Doubles Ages 12 - 18
- Girls Singles and Doubles Ages 12 - 18
- Mixed Doubles Ages 12 - 18
- Boys Singles 10 and Under
- Girls Singles 10 and Under
Note that we will be using the 10 And Under Tennis system for our players under the age of ten years. This means that the court size and balls will be scaled to give our younger players a greater chance for success. For more information on the 10 And Under program click here.
Play will be on Saturday and/or Sunday - players will be provided their scheduled match times several days before the tournament. Cost will be $20 for singles players and $30 for doubles teams ($15 per player). The tournament will be held at the new Granite Hills Tennis Center located at 1719 E. Madison Ave. in El Cajon. 2012 Behind Us - 2013 Straight Ahead
With last year's season "in the books" it's time to begin thinking about what lay ahead. Tryouts for our 2013 team will start in August but don't wait until then to pick up your racquet and get out on the court! Call a friend to schedule some practice time or sign up for one of our summer tennis camps. But don't leave your racquet in the bag! Summer tennis camps begin in the third week June and run through the second week of August. For more information on East County Tennis summer camps and instruction click here.
